In this project we were given a chance to really encourage wildlife into the area. The home owners had always enjoyed gardening as well as feeding wildlife especially birds. When we started this project it was imperative that we make it accessible for gardening at a seated level, and as easy to care for as possible.
I very quickly came up with a flowing design, using a Fortress wall stone to give a bold statement, but also a soft flowing look. This stone is typically used in straight line designs only, but at CDC Landscaping we always like to customize our landscapes, giving a very unique touch to really project our clients taste and comfort.
The plantings are all rich, mostly native and of course animal and insect friendly. Creating a beautiful green space, and our clients oasis in Waterloo. This protect was installed in stages. Each year adding sections and planting, and trees. It is still ongoing and we are always excited to show its progression!
Plan Canada – Gifts of Hope 2013
CDC donated 10 fruit trees to developing countries this year for Christmas, on behalf of our wonderful clients! We thank you for all of your kindness and support. You truly make a difference!
Your gift bears fruit in many forms. Planted around schools and homes, fruit trees provide shade from the unrelenting sun and give families nutritious food to eat, helping them stay strong and healthy. This gift, given in your name, will help families in developing countries reap a bountiful harvest.
